Provides the following services:

-            Outdoor Education programs – including theme based hikes, adventure based games and initiatives, interpretive nature programs and both traditional and nontraditional sports;

      Academic Enrichment programs – subject specific small group programs designed to foster understanding and academic performance for elementary and high school aged youth;

-  One-on-One and Small Group Educational support programs – individualized intervention programs for learners with special needs and/or typically developing youth to improve access to curricula and strategically develop improved performance;

-     Life Skills programs – individual and small group activities designed to introduce, enhance and improve social, domestic, vocational and community based skills for teens;

-        One-on-One and Small Group Community based programs – experiential activities in the community for elementary and high school aged youth;

-     Leadership Development and Mentoring programs – train the trainer programs designed to promote community service and vocational skills for high school aged youth leading younger peers under the supervision of TOPG staff;

-      Home based intervention – individualized programs designed to educate parents, improve communication between parents and child/children, work on family specific goals and bridge clinical and home based objectives.

Mr. Dunker is a Master level educational adviser, consultant, and entrepreneur, as well as the former founder/executive director of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Learning Through Doing Adventures (LTDA). He earned his Master degree in Education from Simmons College in Boston, MA, while working at the world renowned New England Center for Children. Mr. Dunker also earned his bachelor degree in Sociology and Anthropology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice from West Virginia University. For over 15 years he has developed and implemented youth empowerment programs.

Throughout the past 15 years, Mr. Dunker has worked in curriculum development, outdoor education, educational technology and establishing an educational therapy private practice. Mr. Dunker originally moved to southern California to help establish The Odyssey Program elementary school in Malibu. During his time there he conducted educational testing, bridged core curricula with the outdoors through the development of an experiential learning program, as well as the creation of after-school enrichment and summer camp programs. In the summer of 2003, Mr. Dunker established a private practice educational therapy group with his wife. His work encompasses teaching learners with special needs, liaison work between families and schools, inclusion with fading supervision, and client work with elementary through high school aged youth.

Feeling a desire to reach a larger population of youth in the greater Los Angeles area, Mr. Dunker founded a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, LTDA in the Spring of 2006. Utilizing the mission of educating and empowering youth through hands-on learning opportunities, Mr. Dunker and his team have successfully reached over 3500 youth from homeless shelters, foster care, with special needs and/or other at risk circumstances by providing time, attention and support. Over 90 percent of participants returned for future activities. Hallmarks of his programming included: Level Playing Field Camp, Outdoor Education Programs for Inner City Youth, Athletic Programs and Field trips for Youth in Homeless Shelters, Job Training and Placement Programs, as well as Leadership Development Programs. Throughout the past year Mr. Dunker and Coley Speaks of Stand Strong 3D (see bio below) has teamed up to present numerous programs for young adults and children throughout Los Angeles.

During the past six months Mr. Dunker has started several new business and educational ventures including a collaborative partnership with Dr. Stephen Ball through The Oaks Psychological Group Adventure Programs. Services range from liaison work between clinical and home therapy for youth and families to intensive behavioral and education programs. Additionally, summer social skill and teambuilding groups and camps are offered. Mr. Dunker is the President of LEARN Consulting Inc., established in April 2014.

Mr. Dunker has worked on several consulting projects including the development of a strategic partnership between the Los Angeles Conservation Corps and California State University Northridge, creating channels for LACC youth employment and matriculation at CSUN. In addition Mr. Dunker has consulted for OTZShoes, an Ed Tech venture called Naaya, and several other companies in a variety of different fields. Mr. Dunker was the lead academic advisor and curricula development specialist for Naaya hired to perform educational audit of the game based learning platform, research and develop Common Core aligned curricula and strategize with both the COO and CSO for product viability and placement.

Mr. Dunker has been active in philanthropy and community service for over a decade serving on the board of directors for several charities including the Kiwanis Club of Calabasas-Agoura, the Kiwanis Foundation and The Liberty Crew. Mr. Dunker has been honored for his service work by the Agoura Patch as a Hometown Hero and KTLA Hero at Home. Mr. Dunker actively participates as a volunteer for several charities including Brandons Buddies, Agoura Pony Baseball Champions League, and School on Wheels.

Mr. Dunker is an avid outdoorsman who lives with his wife Olivia and two sons, Quinn and Colin in Agoura Hills, CA. He enjoys surfing, trail running, beach volleyball, basketball, hockey and hiking.
